Residents Work Together To Save Young Fox Injured In Rat Trap

In the community of Cudahy, Wisconsin, residents went above and beyond their responsibility to the local animal population when they came to the aid of a wild fox whose paw was injured in a rat trap.

The young fox was frequently seen milling about with his furry friends.  Cudahy’s residents developed a soft spot for the fox population so when they saw the injured animal limping around with a rat trap clamped to his paw, they decided to take action.

A young fox in had set off a rat trap and it clamped onto his front paw.

Unable to remove it, the fox wandered around town until residents took notice.

Cudahy’s citizens couldn’t stand to watch this innocent animal suffer.
