Pets are such a huge part of our lives, so huge, they become important members of our families. The prospect of living without them seems almost impossible.
When Emily Mochan found out that her dog Buddy only had six weeks left to live, she was obviously devastated.
That’s when she sat down and wrote a bucket list for her dog. A list of things she felt every pup would want to do during their time on earth.
She posted her story on Facebook. She was surprised at the outpouring of support from strangers and dozens of ideas were added to Buddy’s bucket list!

Buddy was made an honorary service dog.
Even though he grew weary, Buddy smiled through it all, enjoying his quality time with Emily.
Buddy spent his last night playing tug of war with his human and in the morning, they said goodbye for the last time.
Buddy saw so much during his brief time on earth, but his final gift was the greatest of all…
All of Buddy’s favorite toys were donated to other dogs in need. His legacy truly lives on!
Emily gave her dog such an amazing final gift. Rest in peace, Buddy!
