As a rescue driver for the Michigan Humane Society, Chris Ouwerkerk is an under-appreciated hero. His job is to help save the lives of animals every single day.
Ouwerkerk responded to a call about a puppy chained to an abandoned sofa and left on the side of the road during a rainstorm.
Little did he know he would have to help save the puppy’s new best friend as well!
