Steve Knoop pulled over when he spotted it just laying out there in the middle of the road. All alone, a little newborn fawn stayed unmoving in the center of a lane.
The little deer appears to be healthy and is at least breathing normally. They’re not sure now what to do with it. One says that since it should get up soon, he can just go nearby and park his truck sideways until it does. Another spots mom not far off, probably just in the wooded area alongside the road.
They say that it appears that this baby deer was born just minutes ago. Everyone feels that it should get out of the road. Steve’s friend, Paul, begins to approach it. What happens next is worth the watch, showing mankind interacting amiably with nature.
