While two Estes Park Police officers were on patrol, they came across a buck caught in a river. Bucks can usually wade across the river, or walk across the frozen surface. This buck got stuck half way across and could not find his way out. The officers risked physical harm when they got a rope and tried to rescue the massive buck.
