In a small mountain village in Albania, the locals captured a live wolf and wanted to keep it in captivity. We’re not sure why they wanted to keep it, but they eventually decided to put the wolf in a pen with an old donkey.
The wolf and the donkey were a little apprehensive with each other at first but eventually warmed up to each other. It didn’t take long for these two to start cuddling and become friends.
Within a few hours either, the pair were truly bonded. The story of the two companions spread so fast, that even the Albania government had to check it out.
Once the government stepped in, they forced them to release the wolf back into the wild. This may have been because the government didn’t want the wolf to have a change of heart.
After the wolf was released back into the wild, they transferred the donkey to a new, grassy field to live out his time in peace. The villagers started seeing the wolf come down and visit with the donkey, they were even cuddling with each other!
