Dogs are incredibly loyal creatures by nature and we’ve all heard the stories about the lengths that dogs have gone through in order to be with their beloved owners.
In Thailand, this dog was seen standing on the side of the road. He was waiting for his owners to come and pick him up. Sadly, that never happened.
Every single day he waited in the same spot. Passersby would see him, and try to help. But when they approached him, he would refused to go near them.
People began leaving him food, and even set up umbrellas for him to use for shelter. Thank goodness for kind people!
Two months passed and the poor little thing waited by the road side. It was a heartbreaking display of devotion.
The more time that went by, the more people started becoming worried about the defenseless little dog. He was wasting away! Someone finally got in touch with the local animal shelter.
Soi Dog Rescue heard about the pup, and immediately rushed out to rescue the dog to prevent him from being killed on the side of the road.
Fortunately, they were successful at rescuing him and loaded the dog into the car and they took him to their shelter
He seemed relieved when he was picked up by the shelter.
This loyal and devoted little dog was adopted almost immediately!
