When Rylee Rae’s boyfriend broke up with her, he took with him their two hairless cats. Rylee had a hard time getting over the loneliness. She was not only trying to get over the loss of her boyfriend, but she also lost the companionship of the two cats. Rylee, who grew up with hairless cats, had been searching adoption sites for months.
While searching online, Rylee saw a notice that read “Hairless Cat Found.” She jumped at the chance to have a new friend.
The cat was found two hours from where Rylee live in Toronto, and the message had only been up for twenty minutes before Rylee saw it.
She immediately responded to the post by pleading with the people that she would love the cat unconditionally for the rest of her life. The people agreed and Rylee adopted the cat she now calls Delores.
Rylee learned that Delores had been living in a home with other cats, and she was frequently bullied. Rylee says that she and Delores are soul mates.
Because hairless cats get cold (since they have no fur) Delores snuggles under the blankets to stay warm at night.
Rylee said her mom is a fantastic knitter and is busy knitting warm outfits for Delores to wear.
Rylee said that Delores is an angel!
