While Hiking, Dog Saved Owner From Bear Attack

Reid Roberts and his dog Pacer were hiking one day in the Forest for the World, in Prince George, British Columbia. That is when he startled a mother black bear and her two cubs.

Without notice, Roberts was attacked by the bear, when out of nowhere, Pacer, a border collie, started barking and nipping at the Bear. It was because of Pacer that the bear became distracted. But the bear began attacking Roberts again. Finally, the bear ran after Pacer while Roberts was able to get help.

Roberts was treated at the hospital for sixteen stitches in his hand and claw marks on his stomach and arm. Pacer was uninjured!
