When police officers began their day, they assumed it would be a pretty uneventful day. They responded to a call about an unconscious man in a hotel room. When they arrived, they found the room littered with drug paraphernalia, stolen checks, and personal information of dozens of victims, and a tiny puppy.
Daisy was found huddled and scared in the bathroom, malnourished and obviously neglected by her unconscious owner.
The poor dog could only find sanctuary in the motel bathroom. One of the detectives on the scene decided to take her animal control in hopes that she could be nursed back to health and given a home.
Once an animal finds their forever home, you would think that is the end of the story. However, Detective Lynes could not get Daisy off his mind, and after waiting the mandatory period, went to see if someone would claimed her. As luck would have it, no one claimed Daisy and Lynes brought Daisy home to be a part of his family.
Daisy even takes trips to the precinct to visit her heroes. Her presence brings everyone a little solace and everyone loves having her around.
Daisy even wears a tiny vest to teach children about the dangers of drug abuse!
