Kathryn Van Beek was walking home in the pouring rain when she noticed something in the corner of her eye. At first, it looked like it might be a rat, but she quickly realized it was a tiny kitten.
When she picked up the tiny kitten, she realized he still had his umbilical cord attached.
Kathryn named him Bruce, after Bruce Wayne, and took him home.
The kitty still hadn’t opened his eyes after 12 days and was very tiny.
Eventually Bruce opened those beautiful eyes to share with the world. ?
Bruce was determined to live, and he learned to eat on his own.
Kathryn did everything she could to keep him warm and healthy.
And all of the hard work started to pay off. ?
After 9 weeks, Bruce was acting just like a normal kitten!
Already up to 2 pounds, Bruce didn’t look anything like the kitty she found in the rain.
He became an extremely beautiful cat! Thanks to Kathryn, he’s living an amazing life now. ?
