While we may see animals suffering, we do not always have the time or resources to help them. There is one special man who has made an unbelievable sacrifice on behalf of a group of animals.
This amazing story takes place in the country of Kenya, where Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua has taken some extraordinary steps to help a group of animals. Patrick is a humble pea farmer with a huge heart.
Tsavo West National Park is located in the drylands of Kenya. The animals who live there are unable to get access to water. Global warming is having such a devastating effect on this land. If the animals don’t receive regular hydration, their lives will be in danger.
When Patrick saw that the area is not receiving rain like it once did, he sprung into action.
Patrick now spends each day driving these dry lands and filling all of the animals’ watering holes. The animals recognize the “water man” and line up to greet him as soon as he arrives.
When some American women were made aware of Patrick’s efforts they established a GoFundMe page to help him. If his story touched your heart, please take time out to go to this page and provide him and the animals with a donation.
