“I noticed that I had a big pimple on my bicep. It didn’t look like a spider bite. The next day it appeared to be a boil. After 5 days I could see that it was more serious. Went to a government hospital in Mthatha, they couldn’t do much and said I should wait to cut it open. On the 9th day my arm was swelling a lot. Went into surgery to get it cut and drained.”
