The Latea Forest in Romania is home to around 4,000 wild horses. For years, locals have chained these majestic creatures’ hind hooves together in a crude attempt to slow the horses down and keep them from running away.
The rescuers at the Four Paws organization, didn’t take too kindly to this cruel practice. So when veterinarian Ovidiu Rosu spotted a horse hobbled by chains, he knew he had to act. But the horse’s reaction is something he never expected.
The sweet horse couldn’t help but thank his savior!
