Dogs are great pets! They are smart, loyal, and totally playful. However, some dogs can also be a little bit strange. Sometimes dogs can do things that will leave you scratching your head.
Huckleberry, the golden retriever, is adored by his human owners. However, wait until you see the wacky habit this dog has developed, you will not be able to stop laughing.
Huckleberry just loves to hang out on the roof of his house! This massive dog has figured out a way to get onto the roof, and it is quite the sight to behold. Huckleberry’s antics have the neighborhood in an uproar.
Neighbors were so worried when they saw Huck on the roof that his owners had to put up a sign. It reads “He will not jump off unless you entice him with food or a ball! We appreciate your concern but please do not knock on our door…we know he’s up there!”
The owners encourage people passing by to take photographs of Huckleberry and share them on social media using the hashtag #huckleberrytheroofdog. People took them up on their suggestion and the pictures have started pouring into Instagram!
Nobody knows what Huckleberry finds so interesting about the roof, but it definitely makes for a funny photo op!
It is easy for Huck to spot people approaching the house! You can tell by his focused gaze that Huckleberry is one good guard dog!

Whatever his reason for spending his days on the roof, everyone can agree that it makes for a pretty unique sight!
