Puzzles are a great way to stimulate the brain. You may find some puzzles are easy to solve, while others are hard and challenging. Here’s one you can try to solve.
Each of the animals in the picture below represents a different number. What you’re supposed to find is the number you’ll get when you add up the dog, cat and the bird! Think you can do this? Take a look at this puzzle below, but try to solve it first before you see the answer!
And the answer
How do you get 13? The square root of 16 is 4 so the dog is 4. Then when you divide 36 by 4 you get 9 (cat x cat). The square root of 9 is 3 so the cat is 3. If you divide 72 by 4, then by 3 you get 6, which means bird is 6. So. 4 + 3 + 6 = 13! Share away, people!
