The Quebec Society for the Protection of Animals in Canada found the dog you see below on the streets. The poor dog was so dirty, and his fur was so matted, that he was barely recognizable as an animal.
His fur was so matted that he appeared much larger than he actually was.
Over 50% of his size here was due to the fur.
His rescuers carefully rushed to shave off the nasty hair.
What they revealed was a loving boy underneath.
He was frightened by the buzzer…
…it was probably the first time he had ever been groomed.
The process was all worth it.
He looked like a completely different animal when they were done.
He was so grateful to be indoors, clean and loved.
