Josh Kelly was a college student at Idaho State University. He suffered from a disorder known as epilepsy, which caused him to have a service dog named Cletus that followed him everywhere around campus.
Cletus became a well known fixture on campus, and he was able to save Josh’s life multiple times. He alerted friends and family when he had seizures and was always there to be a companion to Josh.
Sadly, Josh passed away from complications due to the disease. This occurred just before his graduation. In honor of Josh, the university did something unprecedented. I couldn’t keep it together when I saw Cletus accept the diploma on behalf of Josh. It was too touching.
