Last year on the Bahaman island of Nassau, Rosie Kemp found a baby raccoon that had fallen from a tree. With the mother nowhere in sight, Rosie and her daughter Laura decided to adopt the little one and take her home. The kind hearted duo named the little bandit Pumpkin. After a short time, the racoon recovered from her injuries and now lives the good life with her little, furry family.
“She instantly bonded with us and our two rescue dogs and follows me and our two dogs everywhere we go,” Young told The Dodo. “She now thinks she is a dog… she is able to play and be rough with them and she respects them when they have had enough.”
